Krýsuvíkurbjarg (or Heiðnaberg) is a massive sea-cliff on the south side of the Reykjanes peninsula. It is home to more than 100.000 sea-birds, and two small creeks, which produce the only waterfalls in the peninsula. By some strange zoning decision these are actually in the municipality of Hafnarfjörður.

The creeks are called Vestrilækur (West Creek) and Eystrilækur (East Creek). The western one is about 1km west of the parking lot, it has a small waterfall accessible from the ground but the higher one downstream requires a drone to get a photo. The eastern creek is only 200m from the parking lot. It often dries up and sometimes manages to find it’s way through cracks in the cliff, and then spews out mid-cliff.

Best time to photograph is when there is a lot of water, and there are no birds in the cliffs (they attack the drone).
