Kolugljúfur canyon in Vídidalsá river is quite a spectacular place and popular with tourists. Well worth a visit. Efrifoss is at the top of the canyon, just above the bridge over the river.

Close to the ring road there is a low waterfall/rapids in Gljúfurá river.
