In Sölvadalur you can catch a glimpse of Stekkjarfoss from the track through the valley. It’s surrounded by power lines and the remnants of an hydro power facility.

Close to the road on the east side of the Eyjafjörður valley there are two waterfalls, Mjaðmárfoss and Goðafoss, at the confluence of the Mjaðmá and Efri Þverá rivers.

Bóndahvammsfoss is situated below the farm of Garðsá. A bit downstream is a beautiful river gorge which can be seen from a viewpoint.
